Jmeter & HP Performance center

HP Performance center มี option ในการเรียก script ของ Jmeter มารันคู่กันกับ Loadrunner ได้ ในบทความนี้จะอธิบายถึงการ configuration เบื้องต้นให้ HP Performance center ทำการรันสคริปต์ทั้งสองชนิดใน scenario เดียวกันได้ ( ขอเรียก HP Performanc center สั้นๆว่า PC นะครับ)

เริ่มต้นจากการ Log in เข้า PC แล้วไปที่ Test management ตามภาพ ในที่นี้จะทำการ upload สคริปต์ Jmeter (jmx) ที่เราเตรียมไว้แล้ว เข้าไป folder ชื่อ test

การ upload ให้อยู่ในรูปแบบ zip format ไม่อย่างนั้นเมื่อ upload แล้วระบบจะทำการเตือนว่า ... Please select only zipped Vugen scripts or Jmeter scripts

หากทำการ upload ไฟล์ถูกต้อง (zip format) ระบบจะแสดงข้อความ Successfully uploaded {Script name} into {Path name}

เมื่อ upload สคริปต์ Jmeter ขึ้นไปเก็บใน PC แล้วใน scripts tree จะแสดงสัญลักษณ์ Jmeter เป็นรูปไอคอนตามนี้

หลังจาก upload script เรียบร้อย เราก็พร้อมยิง load แล้ว ให้ทำการ add สคริปต์ Jmeter เข้ามาที่ Test scenario แล้วระบบจะทำการเตือนว่า 1 Vuser ที่แสดงบน Performance center นั้นจะรันตามจำนวน thread ที่ตั้งไว้ใน jmx file และควรรันแบบประเภท Run until completion
